Installing the player should be fairly easy and quick to carry out. The device can quickly load and playback Blu Ray dvds. For a completely new machine today, the DVD up-conversion to 1080p was just average, but far better than average in comparison with older machines. It boasts a good disc tray that goes in and out very easily, without any worrisome noises. This device works very well, especially with updating the firmware. The firmware can be downloaded directly from LG via LAN port or you can do it via the site and install it via disk or memory stick. It will be interesting to find out if LG continues to support this device when further firmware updates are required. It is quite remarkable it can easily play local media files as it is an inexpensive model. The asking price of this Blu-ray is worth it since it can also do up-conversions of DVD, it’s fast loading and more.
